Dear Friends,

There will be no program this Saturday, June 8 at 26 2nd Ave.

Instead, you are all invited to join us for the annual Ratha Yatra and
Festival of India that day.

This event, at which more than a thousand devotees and friends will
participate, begins with an amazing parade at 11:30 a.m., starting at
45th Street and Fifth Avenue. The parade, which includes lots of
chanting and dancing, goes downtown along Fifth Avenue until it
reaches Washington Square Park. It should arrive there around 2:30
p.m., give or take a half an hour. In Washington Square Park, from
2:00 to 7:00 p.m., we will have a festival, in which there will be
blissful kirtans, dramas, and cultural dances. At the festival site
a vegetarian lunch prasadam feast will be served to about 10,000
people. Please join us.

Please also join us the following Saturday, June 15, as usual, for our
Bhagavad Gita class and kirtans (at 5:30 p.m. at at 26 2nd Avenue).
